I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I believe that Joseph Smith was visited by Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ in a grove of trees, that he was called of God to restore the true gospel to the Earth, that had been lost after the Apostasy. I believe that through the power of God, an uneducated farm boy translated scriptures that we call the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ, and account of His children in the Americas. It works hand in hand with the Bible which i also believe in! I believe that Heavenly Father has called living prophets since Joseph Smith to guide His work. Today, Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet. He guides and directs the member of the LDS faith through the power of God. I believe that God's son even Jesus Christ descended from his heavenly throne, to gain a body of flesh and blood, to live a life untainted by sin, to be the perfect example of love and obedience. I believe that Jesus Christ suffered not for the sins of the world, but for MY sins...i know that he came for me, to save me. Because the Atonement of Jesus Christ is so real to me, that i know if he had to come down to this earth to only save you, or me...he would have. The love of my Savior is never ending, it is unconditional. I know that Christ was resurrected and even today dwells in his resurrected body. I believe that one day Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will return to this earth, and that we, together with our families, will live with him and Heavenly Father for all eternity.
This Gospel has blessed my life in countless ways! It is the reason i am who i am, the reason i am achieving what i am achieving, and the reason to live each and every day. I am a Mormon, I am a Christian, I am a believer in my savior Jesus Christ.
